Riverside College has achieved an excellent reputation for the quality of Higher Education courses we have been delivering for the last 30 years. We have strong relationships with universities, business and industry regionally, which is a tremendous benefit to our HE students.Progression routes with local universities are excellent and we are proud to have courses validated by Liverpool John Moores University, Edge Hill University, though the Greater Merseyside and West Lancashire Lifelong Learning Network and Staffordshire University.
During March 2009 Ofsted inspected Riverside College's Teacher Education provision as part of their full inspection of Initial Teacher Education across Liverpool John Moores' University Post Compulsory Collaborative Partnership and found it to be Grade 1 Outstanding.
This follows an exceptionally successful QAA, IQER Developmental Engagement review of our Higher Education provision, which resulted in feedback on a wide range of good practice in College, and the inspectors did not identify any essential actions needed to improve the provision and service for Higher Education students.You can therefore be assured that by choosing Riverside College Halton you are choosing excellent quality teaching, facilities and award winning support.
