"I've been working as a teacher for the last 14 years for a company called Deafness Support Network. Due to new legislation you now have to have a teaching qualification, to continue in my job role you now have to have a teaching qualification by 2010.
The course is great and the tutor support is excellent because I am a profoundly deaf and BSL user, the college provides me with an interpreter, to give me any additional support I need.
I thought the course would be boring as I have been teaching for so long but there are so many things I've learnt over the past year, it's been tough but the end is in sight."
