Apprentices are extremely popular with employers, who appreciate the benefits of combining off the job learning with practical on the job training and the achievement of an industry qualification. Our comprehensive apprenticeship programme is delivered in partnership with the employer and generally involves working a minimum of 30 hours per week with at least 20% of the training off the job either in college or in the workplace.
Apprentices are usually paid £150-200 per week. You can study on an apprenticeship over one, two or three years depending on the level you start at and how far you decide to go.
There are three levels of apprenticeships:
- Intermediate, Level 2 (equivalent to 5 GCSEs at A*- C, GCSE English and Maths Level 9 – 3)
