What is this course about?
On this course you will study a variety of health related areas such as legislation, communication and sociology. You will complete work experience in a variety of settings including residential homes to work as a volunteer and to share good practice. The course is an excellent opportunity to develop professional skills, knowledge and expertise in all aspects of health and social care with adults and children. An integral part of the course is attending a range of placement that offer the opportunity to develop skills further and relate theory to practice, again with children and adults.
What will I learn on this course?
The course will enable you to develop the knowledge and skills required to work in a range of health related professions, including Anatomy and physiology, psychology, sociology and Equality and Diversity.

How will I be assessed?
A mixture of assessment methods including written assignments, role plays, presentations and discussions as guided by subject tutors.
What are the Entry Requirements?
Level 2 in English and Maths. Students must also have a clear DBS (please enquire at your interview)

You will need to purchase a DBS (£44) and a placement polo shirt (£7)
