What is this course about?
Explore the issues, myths and misconceptions surrounding mental health and learn about the rights of people with mental health issues. Level 1 NCFE award in Mental Health Awareness can be achieved.
What will I learn on this course?
You will learn what is meant by the terms mental health and mental ill-health, the possible causes of mental health difficulties, examples of mental health problems, the social and personal effects of mental ill-health, how mental health is reported in the media and the negative effects this can have on an individual and society , the rights of people with mental health issues and much more.

How will I be assessed?

What are the Entry Requirements?
No qualifications are required for this course, however you may need to take an English assessment during enrolment.
