More than just a course
Business Studies students have a truly unique learning experience. Students have the opportunity to compete in national enterprise competitions with the finals in London on a national stage. Enterprise is embodied through projects with local employers such as our HALO product launch which involved students working with a local company to bring a real product to market and to work alongside the likes of Colin Jackson, Olympic Champion.

- Work placements with large employers including Marks and Spencer, Bentley Motors, Evolution and O2

A minimum of 5 A*- C GCSE
subject grades or numerical equivalent, including English Language and Maths.
A minimum of 4 A* – D GCSE subject grades or numerical equivalent, including English Language.
A minimum of 4 A* – E GCSE subject grades or numerical equivalent, including English Language.

At Riverside College you can progress through the levels from entry to level 3 and beyond. By achieving qualifications in business you will be able to start your career in a wide range of fields such as accounting, marketing, human resources, management, teaching, events and retail management or even start your own business. For business students the career options are endless.
Following the Level 3 BTEC Extended Diploma you can progress to some of the very best universities in the UK. You can study business on its own or combine it with law, economics, accounting, maths, travel and tourism, marketing, human resources or a language.
