What is this course about?
The course will cover a detailed understanding of the following topics:
• Learn to use the tools and equipment associated with bench joinery
• Produce advanced bench and site joinery products
• Learn day to day joinery practices such as door lining and hanging
• Manufacture or upcycle your chosen product using the skills and tools you have acquired.
As part of the course you will produce several pieces of practical work to be assessed that will demonstrate your ability and allow you to progress.

Completion of Intro to joinery course.
Are there any costs associated with this course?
Each learner will require a Riverside College, safety boots, writing equipment, and a ring binder with note paper.

How will I be assessed?
Assessment is carried out on all practical tasks throughout the year. At the end of the course each learner has to show the knowledge they have gained through an end of year exam in order to achieve the full qualification.
