New Employer Incentives for Hiring Apprentices!
The Chancellor’s A Plan for Jobs speech launched a wave of new apprentice incentive schemes to help boost the economy and to support the next generation of apprenticeships.
As an Ofsted Outstanding Apprenticeship provider (click here for report), we can provide support with the range of incentives now available and discuss how our high quality apprenticeship programmes can benefit your business. We also offer a free recruitment service.
The scheme provides employers who hire a new apprentice between 1 August 2020 and 31 January 2021 with a payment of:
- £2000 for each new apprentice aged 16 to 24
- £1500 for each new apprentice over the age of 25
The government will make this payment in addition to the £1000 payment that employers already receive for taking on an apprentice:
- aged 16 to 18
- under the age of 25 with an education, health and care plan
This scheme is only available for a limited period so to find out more contact our specialist apprenticeship team today on 0151 257 2828 or email apprenticeships@riverside.ac.uk
