What is this course about?
Explore why people misuse alcohol, the physical and physiological effects of alcohol on the individual and the effects alcohol misuse can have on others. An NCFE L1 Award in Alcohol Awareness can be achieved.
What will I learn on this course?
The differences in unit strengths, the possible causes of alcohol misuse, some of the psychological and physiological effects of alcohol misuse, the ways alcohol misuse can impact on health, nutrition, liver, heart, mental health, sexual health and the effects of alcohol withdrawal.
