At Riverside College we have created Centres of Excellence in Catering & Hospitality and Hairdressing & Beauty

These Centres of Excellence have been built around significant investment in employing some of the best specialist teaching staff in the country, investing in state of the art facilities and by generating significant opportunities for students.

The Centres of Excellence work with high profile partners to offer students opportunities to develop both their academic and personal expertise in their chosen subject(s) to a level that will support applications to the country’s most prestigious universities.

Counselling

The Centre of Excellence for Counselling at Riverside College is dedicated to delivering high-quality counselling education and training. It was established to recognise more than 20 years of success in the College’s counselling provision and builds on a strong reputation for developing skilled, confident practitioners.

Catering & Hospitality

At the Centre of Excellence in Catering and Hospitality students benefit from training with Michelin Star Chefs, extensive opportunities for work experience and our brand new state of the art kitchens and restaurant.

Hair, Beauty, Nails & Media Makeup

At the Centre of Excellence for Hair, Beauty, Nails and Media Makeup we have recently refurbished contemporary facilities, including hairdressing salons, beauty treatment rooms, a nail bar and state of the art media makeup studios. This fantastic setting provides students with the opportunity to run their own salons and showcase their skills to the public.
