It was great to see former Riverside College student and now Michelin Star Head Chef at mana Restaurant, Connor Slater, return to Riverside College to visit the Catering and Hospitality students for ASPIRE Week!
Connor demonstrated his incredible culinary skills by cooking some delicious plates, including Scallop chawanmushi with a scallop broth and chives, and salt-aged barbecue duck breast with beetroot and bread sauce.
Connor spoke to the students about his rise to Michelin Star Head Chef and his experience at Riverside College. He also gave lots of advice and guidance, inspiring the catering students for the future.
