Double Award Success for Talented Apprentice
Level 3 Infrastructure Technician Apprentice and Riverside College student Josh Davies is celebrating success with his employer after receiving two awards at the Science & Technology Facilities Council (STFC) Apprenticeship Evening.
Josh took home the Peer Support Award and the Recognition Award after being selected by his employer STFC who have been delighted with his performance.
Jonathan Aghanian, North Apprenticeship Scheme Coordinator at STFC said, “Josh reflects the core values of STFC in the way he conducts himself while in the workplace, showing professionalism and integrity every day. He is an asset to his department and the wider organisation.”
Josh started his apprenticeship with STFC in November 2018 and has made great progress in his role, resulting in him being appointed a permanent role in the company.
Antony Thompson, Josh’s line manager at STFC said, “His friendly, approachable and helpful attitude made him the perfect choice.”
Ryan Turner, Josh’s tutor at Riverside College said, “We are very proud of Josh’s achievements at the awards evening, he has been a wonderful student and an outstanding apprentice. These awards are well deserved.”
