The Governing Body has scheduled meetings and operates a committee system.
In addition to the full Board, there are five standing committees as follows:
- Audit
- Finance & Resources
- Quality & Standards
- Remuneration
- Search & Governance
Board meetings are held 4 times in an academic year and usually take place at 4.30pm. Additionally, committees usually meet 3 times a year. All Governors are expected to attend and participate in as many meetings of the Board as possible and to be a member of at least one of the committees. Governors are also involved in college life through attendance at college events, such as award celebrations and student performances.
