This level 3 course will develop further practical and theoretical electrical skills to enable progression to an apprenticeship in Electrical Installation or employment in electrical or affiliated industries.

Achievement of Electrical Installation at Level 2 or equivalent (C&G 2330 Level 2 or C&G 2365 Level 2) and GCSE English and Maths at 9 – 4. Applicants must sit the Level 3 Electrical Installation Test.

What will I learn on this course?
On this course you will learn how to work safely and competently in an electrical environment and develop the practical skills essential for employment in the industry.
You will also have tutorial sessions which will involve a 1 to 1 discussion with your personal tutor to monitor your progress and support you during your course.
You may have the opportunity to represent the College in national competitions such as UK Skill-build. Enrichment activities such as 5 a side football, model car racing, practical projects and many more.
How will I be assessed?
You will be assessed through a number of practical assessments during the year and undertake a final practical assessment at the end of the year. You will be expected to complete extended learning throughout the year in order to prepare for an end of year theory exam.
