Level 2 Certificate in Common Health Conditions

Course overview:
The purpose of this qualification is to give learners currently working in, or intending to work in, adult health and social care an awareness of a range of common health conditions. Learners may then progress to additional qualifications to gain a more in-depth understanding of specific health conditions.

Assessments:

• Unit 1: Monitoring the health of individuals affected by health conditions
• Unit 2: Stroke awareness
• Unit 3: Arthritis awareness
• Unit 4: Parkinson’s disease awareness
• Unit 5: Understanding cardiovascular
• Unit 6: Understand physical disability

This qualification aims to:

• Develop knowledge of the various common health conditions.
• Develop the understanding of monitoring the health of individuals affected by health conditions.

The objective of this qualification is to:

• Prepare learners for further training.
• Support a role in the workplace where the individual may work or interact with those experiencing different health conditions.

Learning method:
Studying via Remote E-Learning means you can choose when and where you study. We ensure that you get all the support you need throughout your course in the form of a personal tutor.

During your course, a member of the team will contact you at least once a month. It is important that you are available to respond to this communication.

To help you stay on track, you will be provided with unit submission deadlines. Your first unit must be submitted within four weeks of your enrolment date.
