Course overview:
The purpose of this qualification is to provide learners with sector awareness by introducing the knowledge and understanding in roles and issues relating to Cyber Security. This can act as a stepping stone that may lead learners into studying Cyber Security at a higher level.

Assessments:

• Unit 1: Introduction to cyber security
• Unit 2: Understand terminology used in cyber security
• Unit 3: Understand legal and ethical aspects of cyber security
• Unit 4: Understand common threats to cyber security
• Unit 5: Understand methods of maintaining cyber security
• Unit 6: Working with others in cyber security

This qualification aims to:

• Focus on the study of the principles of cyber security
• Offer breadth and depth of study, incorporating a key core of knowledge of cyber security.

The objective of this qualification is to:

• Provide learners with knowledge and understanding of the principles of cyber security.

Learning method:
Studying via Remote E-Learning means you can choose when and where you study. We ensure that you get all the support you need throughout your course in the form of a personal tutor.

To help you stay on track, you will be provided with unit submission deadlines. Your first unit must be submitted within four weeks of your enrolment date.
