Level 2 Certificate in Understanding Safeguarding and Prevent:

Course overview:
The purpose of this qualification is to increase the learner’s knowledge and awareness of the Prevent Duty and safeguarding, including online safety. By completing the qualification, learners will develop knowledge of safeguarding in an environment where they have a duty of care.

Assessments:

• Unit 1: Understanding the prevent duty
• Unit 2: Understanding safeguarding
• Unit 3: Understanding online safety

This qualification aims to:

• Focus on the study of understanding safeguarding and Prevent Duty.

The objective of this qualification is to:

• Provide learners with the knowledge and skills to identify safeguarding concerns and keep individuals in their care safe using the prevent duty and online safety.

Learning method:
Studying via Remote E-Learning means you can choose when and where you study. We ensure that you get all the support you need throughout your course in the form of a personal tutor.

This course is available Fully online.

During your course, a member of the team will contact you at least once a month. It is important that you are available to respond to this communication.

To help you stay on track, you will be provided with unit submission deadlines. Your first unit must be submitted within four weeks of your enrolment date.
