New for 2018: Funding for Employed Students
You no longer have to be unemployed to study for free!
Eligible Entry, Level 1 and Level 2 courses may be free for you if you are:
- Working part time, earning less than £338 per month and claiming a state benefit
OR - Working full time and earning less than £15,736.50 per year
Courses include:
Accounting, Barbering, Joinery, Lash & Brow, Plumbing, Beauty, Counselling, Microblading, Makeup Artist and Teaching Assistants.
Eligible Entry, Level 1 and Level 2 courses may be FREE if you are:
- Unemployed and in receipt of a state benefit
- Employed earning less than £338 per month (individual claim).
- in receipt of Universal Credit and in one of the following groups – All Work-related Requirement Group, Work Preparation Group, Work Focused Interview Group
OR - in receipt of a state benefit, choosing a course that will provide you with the skills to enhance your employment prospects
- in receipt of Universal Credit and in one of the following groups – All Work-related Requirement Group, Work Preparation Group, Work Focused Interview Group
- You earn less than £15,736.50 per year / £1,311 per month working on a full time contract of approximately 37.5 hours per week with paid holiday entitlement. You MUST provide a wage slip from the last 3 months or an employment contract in order to enrol.
- Studying a FULL Level 2 course, aged 19-23, employed and have NOT already achieved a FULL Level 2 Qualification
