Entry Requirements:
You require a minimum of 4 GCSE’s or equivalent at grade 9-3 including English and maths or progression from Level 1 Beauty Therapy.

What will this course lead on to?
Progression to advanced level 3 Beauty Therapy or Nails Services, or employment in beauty salons, nail bars or cosmetic companies.

What will I learn on this course?
You will develop a wide range of beauty therapy and nail skills throughout this course, including manicure and pedicure techniques, nail art, waxing, skincare and facial treatments, lash and brow services such as individual lash application, and makeup skills. You will also learn a variety of nail-focused techniques, including advanced nail art, spa-style nail treatments, and nail enhancements using gel systems.

These include Driving Test Theory sessions, workshops delivered by leading product manufacturers, and exciting trips to industry competitions and exhibitions. Are there any costs associated with this course?
You will be required to purchase a college uniform and kit, and full details will be provided at your interview. In addition, you will need to wear full-length black trousers and black, fully covered shoes or trainers. A file or folder will also be needed to organise your portfolio of work.

There may be financial support available to help with the cost of your course through the College Bursary Fund.

At our Centre of Excellence for Hairdressing and Beauty Therapy, you will have access to outstanding, industry-standard facilities, including three fully equipped hairdressing salons, two dedicated beauty treatment rooms, a nail salon, and two professional makeup studios. These high-quality spaces allow students to run their own salons, gain valuable real-world experience, and confidently showcase their skills to the public.
