Riverside College Celebrates Outstanding Apprentice Achievement at Apprenticeship Awards

Riverside College is proud to celebrate the success of apprentices who have been recognised at this year’s Apprenticeship Awards. This achievement is not only a testament to the hard work and dedication of our apprentices, but also a celebration of their personal growth, determination, and ambition.

It reflected the support and training available to our students from committed employer partners who play a vital role in developing the skills and confidence apprentices need to progress in their careers.

The awards evening brought together families, employers, and staff to celebrate the journeys of apprentices who have grown in confidence and capability during their time with the college.

The awards were proudly presented by The Mayor of Halton, Councillor Martha Lloyd Jones.

The overall Apprentice of the Year award went to the talented Health & Social Care Apprentice, Carol Sutton. The SME Apprentice Employer of the Year went to AB Building & Electrical, and the Large Apprentice Employer of the Year went to United Infrastructure Ltd.

Painting & Decorating Apprentice of the Year: Daniel Mairs, Bell Group
Welding & Fabrication Apprentice of the Year: Shea Bennett, JET Engineering
