Course Overview/What is this course about?
During this course you will Learn the fundamental skills and knowledge of Brickwork that will be delivered by experienced staff with over 38 years of industry experience. As well as being a more practical course there will be some theory work that will have to be completed to achieve success in this Diploma, some of which will have to be completed at home.
Why choose this course?
To learn how to carry out basic traditional brickwork tasks, this will include learning how to set out and build simple structures such as garden walls, planters or even a BBQ.

What will I learn on this course?
- Health and Safety in the workplace.
- The principles of building.
- How to set out and build a brick or a block garden wall.
- How to construct a cavity wall.
- How to point/joint new or damaged masonry.
How will I learn and be assessed?
You will be tutored and assessed by an experienced member of staff from the brickwork department.
