Riverside College Student Wins Best Student MUA of the Year at Miss England 2025

Riverside College is proud to celebrate the success of talented Level 2 Media Makeup student, Macy Morris, who has been awarded the prestigious title of Best Student Make-Up Artist of the Year at Miss England 2025.

Macy only began her course with us in September, making this achievement all the more impressive. In such a short time, she has demonstrated exceptional creativity, professionalism, and skill, standing out on one of the biggest stages in the beauty industry.

The award was personally chosen by Andrew Minarik, Head of the Student Hair & Make-Up Team at Miss England for over 25 years and Head of Hair & Make-Up at Miss World. Macy’s artistry was showcased on reigning Miss Barnet, Chloe Nwankwo, during the Miss England final at The Grand Station, where her work captured the attention of the judging panel.

As part of her award, Macy will be invited to take part in an exclusive Miss England photoshoot and will be presented with her trophy by Andrew Minarik here at Riverside College in the spring.

This recognition highlights the incredible opportunities available to our students and the dedication they bring to their studies. Macy’s success is a testament to her talent and hard work, and we are delighted to see her shine so brightly at the start of her journey in the beauty industry.
