Students and Staff from Riverside College and Cronton Sixth Form College raise a record breaking £6,500 for Children In Need.
A fantastic effort from students and staff at all three campuses on Friday 18thNovember included a dare devil abseil from the roof at Kingsway, a rowing challenge, jump for Children in need, competitions, cake sales, raffles and soak the teacher. Plus car washing and valet from the MotorVehicle students earlier in the week all helped to raise the tremendous amount.
Anna Dawe, Vice Principal of Riverside College said, “Staff and students have raised a record amount of money for Children in Need. The students planned events with the help of their tutors, and the result was a wonderful day filled with fantastic activities with everyone taking part. I am extremely proud of what they achieved here.”
