Course Overview/What is this course about?
The course will allow you to explore various ingredients and develop craft skills in bread and dough. You will also gain valuable skills in kneading, fermenting and shaping dough encouraging you to develop your own creative ideas. By choosing this course you will learn how to make different varieties of bread helping you to develop your skills at home

Entry Requirements:
There are no formal entry requirements for this course, however a good level of English and maths is required.
What will I learn on this course?
You will develop an awareness of health and safety relating to preparation of food whilst learning different methods of bread making.

Progression Opportunities/What can this course lead on to?
You may wish to progress onto the Pastry and Pastry Creations course or develop skills on the introduction to cake decorating course or the level 2 Certificate in Patisserie and Confectionary. You may wish to consider moving onto the full time Level 2 Bakery and Patisserie course in the next academic year.
