At Riverside College we offer the HNC and HND in Engineering as part-time courses allowing you to continue working alongside gaining your qualification. Employers place a high value on individuals who possess a Higher National Certificate and Higher National Diploma and it can open up higher level job within the industry or lead directly to a pay rise or a promotion with your current employer.
HNC in Engineering
Start Date: September Duration: 2 years Days/Evenings per week: 1 afternoon & evening
This is a specialist work related qualification that covers all of the key knowledge, understanding and practical skills required in the engineering sector.
HND in Engineering
Start Date: September Duration: 1 year Days/Evenings per week: 1 day per week
The Higher National Diploma in Engineering is a one-year specialist work-related course, to allow you to top up your HNC Engineering (RQF) to a HND.
