You will learn how to make a range of savoury and sweet pastry dishes whilst developing your skills in simple yet effective cooking.

You will develop an awareness of health and safety relating to preparation of food whilst learning different methods of pastry making and how to make cooking a fun and enjoyable past time

You may wish to develop your skills further on the Introduction to Cake Decorating course or the Level 2 Certificate in Patisserie and Confectionary. You may wish to consider moving onto the full time Level 2 Bakery and Patisserie course in the next academic year.
