National Apprenticeship Week 2016 Everton FC #NAW2016

To Celebrate National Apprenticeship Week 2016, Riverside College will be releasing a series of videos over the week, including interviews with high profile employers and their apprentices.

For day four, John Houghton, Apprenticeships & Work Based Learning Manager at Everton Football Club, speaks with Riverside College about ‘Everton in the Community’, the club’s official charity.

In celebration of National Apprenticeship Week 2016, we speak with two apprentices from Everton FC, Connor Walsh & Karlie Lunt – Everton 4 Employment Apprentice Tutors.

We hear why they chose to do an apprenticeship, their roles and responsibilities, the benefits of an apprenticeship, their goals for the future, and the perks of working for a successful company such as Everton FC.

In our third video with Everton, John Houghton, Apprenticeships & Work Based Learning Manager at Everton Football Club talks with Riverside College about the type of people they look for when selecting apprentice applicants. We also hear about the fantastic progression opportunities for apprentices at the company.
