Riverside student appears on Countdown
Riverside College computing student Connor Moorst, previously from The Grange School in Runcorn, was thrilled to have been selected to take part in the popular Channel 4 show ‘Countdown’.
Connor applied for Countdown after being an avid fan for many years. Following a successful application and telephone audition, he travelled to the studio to film on Wednesday 4th February and met popular presenters Nick Hewer and Rachel Riley.
Connor said, “I was excited about taking part in the show. My grandmother, who has always enjoyed Countdown, came along to support me. I loved the experience and am delighted to have been invited back to film another show.”
Countdown is one of the longest running game shows in the world; it was the first programme to be aired on Channel 4 and has broadcast over 6,000 episodes to date.
