Scottish Power Apprentices Honour Fallen Heroes
Our talented Scottish Power Energy apprentices have used their newly developed skills to fabricate a high voltage distribution pylon from scrap metal and honoured the centenary of World War 1 by incorporating a large red poppy.
The project means that the Scottish Power apprentices learned new valuable skills such as; heat forming, bending, shaping, welding and riveting techniques which will help them complete their apprenticeship course.
The project mainly allowed our apprentices to make a significant contribution in commemorating the fallen heroes of World War 1 before the college remembrance service.
